Dr. Melissa Ming Foynes is a clinical psychologist, holistic coach, international educator & consultant, trauma-informed mindfulness, meditation and yoga teacher, Ayurvedic doula, and host of the podcast “The Science & Soul of Living Well.”

She owns an online holistic coaching business that integrates evidence-based tools from psychology with wisdom from complementary and alternative medicine to help women work through anxiety, self-doubt, and self-judgment in order to live their lives in alignment with their innermost needs, desires, dreams, and values.

In addition to her advanced training in various Eastern and Western healing modalities, Dr. Foynes received her PhD from the University of Oregon and completed fellowships at Yale University School of Medicine and the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

She has held academic appointments at the medical schools of Harvard & Boston University and served in several national-level positions in highly-regarded healthcare organizations focused on women's mental health, sexual trauma, and trauma-informed care.
